The Club House, located on Ossabaw Island’s north end, is a restored 1880’s hunting lodge. The Club House offers comfortable dormitory-style accommodations.

Upstairs Accommodations

  • Sleeps 18 people in 9 bunk bed units, in 3 bedrooms. These sleeping areas are called Buckhead, North End and South End.
  • 2 Full Baths
  • 1 Half Bath
  • Buckhead Bedroom, sleeps 4 in two bunk beds
  • Buckhead Bedroom and South End Bedroom are adjoining
  • South End Bedroom sleeps 4 in 2 bunk beds
  • North End Bedroom sleeps 10 in 5 bunk bed units
  • Upstairs common areas are for the use by all guests, which includes two full bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen
  • Window unit air conditioners in all rooms
  • Freestanding space heaters in all rooms

Downstairs Accommodations

  • “Sandy’s Room” is a private bedroom located off of the living room. It sleeps 4 people in 4 twin beds and has adjoining full bath.
  • Downstairs Common Areas for the use of all guests includes:
    • Living room and adjacent dining area
    • Fully equipped kitchen and adjoining food preparation/buffet room (can be used as studio/lab space).
  • Half bath

Club House Special Features

  • Wraparound porch with rocking chairs and ceiling fans.
  • Hardwood floors. “No Shoes Policy” in the buildings.
  • Window HVAC units in downstairs common areas.
  • Portable space heaters for winter stays.
  • Bath towels (not for beach use).
  • Sheets, a light blanket and a pillow for each bed.
  • Electricity and hot water.
  • Refrigerators (3).
  • Ovens (3).
  • Microwave.
  • Electric stoves in both kitchens.
  • Dishware, glassware, assorted pots and pans and cutlery.
  • Commercial grade ice machine.
  • Coffee makers in both kitchens.
  • Charcoal grill. Please bring your own charcoal.
  • Outdoor dining on picnic tables.
  • Extra folding dining tables and chairs for larger groups.

Club House Fees

Does not include boat transportation, food or beverages

 

  • 2-night minimum.  
  • Group size: Minimum 6 people. Maximum 22 people.
  • $145 per person per night. or $1,740 for up to six people.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $250 is due within 30 days from the date the visit is approved to guarantee the reservation. The balance is due upon arrival. If the visit is approved less than three months in advance, the deposit must be paid within 48 hours of visit approved.

Additional Information for Club House Guests

Ossabaw Island is an undeveloped barrier island

 

There are no stores on Ossabaw. Groups bring all of their food and prepare their own meals.

 

The water on Ossabaw Island is well water and ready to drink.

 

All groups are required to provide the following for group use:

  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Dish soap (biodegradable)
  • Trash bags.
  • Hand or body soap (biodegradable)
  • Shampoo (biodegradable)

All groups are required to take their trash or recycling off the island when they depart.

 

No shoes policy in the Club House.

 

There is NO wifi on Ossabaw Island.  If you need wifi, please bring a hotspot. Depending on your mobile phone carrier, there is limited mobile phone access on Ossabaw’s North End.  There is very little mobile phone access south of the North End.
