Three Primitive Campsites
There are three primitive campsites on Ossabaw Island; South End Beach Camp, Middle Place and Shorter Shelter. Ossabaw Island personnel will check on groups daily and provide on-island logistical support.

Middle Place
Middle Place is the most primitive of Ossabaw Island’s three campsites. There is not an outhouse, shower facilities or water. Campers must bring all provisions.

Camping Fee
Does not include boat transportation, food, beverages or island tours / programs
- To reserve the club house requires a 2-night minimum for a group with a minimum of 6 people and a maximum of 30 people.
- The fee is $30 per person per night
- A non-refundable $100 deposit is due within 30 days from the date the reservation is made to guarantee the reservation. The balance is due upon arrival unless an invoicing arrangement has been made.
- Optional – An island tour with island transportation is an additional $150.

Additional Information for Camping Guests
Ossabaw Island is an undeveloped barrier island
There are no stores on Ossabaw. Guests bring all of their food and prepare their own meals. The water on Ossabaw Island is well water, which is natural, un-chemically treated water.
All groups are required to provide their own toilet paper, paper towels, bio-degradable dish soap and trash bags. All visitors are required to take their trash or recycling off the island when they depart.
