Corporate Investment
Corporate investment in the Ossabaw Island Foundation (TOIF) helps to advance our efforts to better understand and protect the past, present and future of Ossabaw Island Heritage Preserve.
Funding for TOIF is raised through private donations, grants, and program fees. Investments are used to facilitate public use, the preservation of historic buildings and artifacts, as well as all educational, cultural, scientific initiatives and activities.
We thank our corporate partners for their loyalty and enthusiasm and look forward to working with new partners as we work to “Reveal the Voices and Mystery of Ossabaw Island” for future generations.
Corporate Support of Recent and Ongoing Accomplishments
Restore and maintain historic buildings on the island for use by visitors or for historic interpretation; e.g., the clubhouse, tabbies, boarding house.
Assist with preservation and maintenance of the Main House (Torrey West House).
Provide or assist with programming for all visitors to the island.
Independently, and with The Ossabaw Island Education Alliance, assist outside entities in securing grants for education, research, historic preservation, culture, science and other activities on or related to Ossabaw.
Lead efforts to install and maintain 21st century technological infrastructure, including on-island electricity, on-island wireless Internet, and this Ossabaw Island website.
